What is the Rasa Platform?

With over 25 million downloads, Rasa has become the go-to framework for building AI Assistants. But as more teams take assistants from prototype to production, we’ve seen a clear need: tools that go beyond building. Tools for safely and efficiently deploying, maintaining, and scaling assistants in enterprise environments. That’s why we are introducing the Rasa Platform.
Act One was Open Source. Act Two is Built for Real-World Scale.
In Act One of our company progress, we focused on helping developers build great assistants with Rasa Open Source and Rasa X. It worked—thousands of teams used it to launch assistants faster and improve them over time.
But building an assistant is just one part of the challenge.
In Act Two, we’re solving for the full lifecycle: deploying, updating, monitoring, and securing assistants across domains, teams, and channels. That’s where the new Rasa Platform comes in. It’s one product, built to handle the complexity that comes with running conversational AI in the real world.
What is the Rasa Platform
The Rasa Platform brings together Rasa, our open code conversational AI framework, and Rasa Studio, our intuitive low-code user interface. Together, they form a complete platform for building, managing, and scaling AI Assistants that deliver great customer experiences.
Rasa is built to meet the needs of modern enterprises—from flexibility and extensibility to robust support for security, observability, and scalability. It provides the AI infrastructure teams need to deploy Assistants with confidence, whether you're starting small or scaling across channels and use cases.
Here are some of the capabilities available on the Rasa Platform:
- Secure against vulnerabilities
With daily security scanning, we ship regularly patched Docker images to make sure dependencies are always up to date and your environment is secure.

- Deploy anywhere
Advanced deployment capabilities with Kubernetes deployment support through Helm. Additionally, if you want to always be running our latest software and not worry about deploying and managing the infrastructure take advantage of our Rasa-as-a-Service offering to run the Rasa Platform in the cloud.

- Integrate custom customer experiences
Built-in Multi-Channel Connectors plus endpoints to connect with databases, APIs, voice IVRs, and other data sources. More seamless out-of-the-box integrations are in the pipeline as a result of close partnerships with many best-in-class vendors across a number of product categories.

- Observe End-to-End
Resolve performance issues faster and identify bottlenecks through OpenTelemetry-based tracing. Analyze your user message journeys, custom components, and integrations to find the operation or action that took the longest to complete and caused user dissatisfaction.

- Analyze your data your way
Visualize Rasa assistant metrics in the tooling (BI tools, data warehouses) of your choice with our Conversation Analytics Pipeline to track and identify areas for improvement. Deploy in your existing data lake to continue using your chosen data visualization software, but most importantly combine your conversation data with your other system data to gain even more powerful business insights.
