What is the Rasa Developer Certification (Foundations)?

This course gives you a hands-on foundation for building conversational agents with Rasa. It covers the full spectrum of dialogue management, from simple scripted responses to autonomous agents that reason, call tools, and act independently. Complete all six chapters and earn your first Rasa Developer Certificate.

What will you build?

You'll start with a basic FAQ agent and progressively extend it, adding integrations, memory, multi-slot collection, document search, and tool-calling, until you have a dynamic agent you built yourself.

What does each chapter cover?

• Chapter 1: Just Responses, answer simple hard-coded FAQs
• Chapter 2: Custom Actions, integrate your agent with external systems
• Chapter 3: Memory, allow your agent to collect information across turns
• Chapter 4: Multiple Slots, collect and act on multiple pieces of information
• Chapter 5: Enterprise Search (RAG), set up your agent to search document sources
• Chapter 6: Sub-agents, build prompt-driven dialogue and enable tool use

What do you need before starting?
